Wildlife Photos by a talented lady
Mary Kirkby took some amazing photos when she visited Mdonya Old River camp in Ruaha.
So we want to share them with you:
This leopard is almost hidden from sight, watching for game....
Success! The leopard is known as "fundi" (mechanic) by the camp staff at Mdonya, because he's always curious about the cars in the camp garage and often sleeps nearby.
One of the biggest challenges for wildlife photographers is birds, because they move so fast. This jewelled Mangrove kingfisher is captured perfectly by Mary, poised for flight.
This series of three photos captures a Lilac-breasted roller catching a meal, eating it then taking flight.
A tent at Mdonya camp - this is in the green season.
