Stijn Cavens' excellent photos were taken while staying at Mdonya Old River camp in Ruaha and Lake Manze Camp in Selous:
This is the picture that ended in the top three list of Africa Geographic (category wildlife 2014).
Laygos the elephant loves Lake Manze camp - here he is wandering through past the dining lodge.
At this time of year Lake Manze often dries back - this lion boldly walks through the lake bed in front of the camp.
Finally Stijn saw African wild dogs, after 4 days of tracking them....
